The Company

We are looking for a Commercial/Financial Accountant to join a well-recognized company with multiple locations across the city. This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial/Financial accountant during a transitional period. This position will commence immediately on a 4 month contract basis.

The Position

As a commercial/financial accountant, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

· Prepare accurate monthly accounts, including P&Ls and reconciliations

· Analyse performance, costs, and supplier movements to provide insights

· Drive process improvements and streamline processes and strengthen financial controls

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking

· Partner with operational teams, providing financial advice and insights

· Ad hoc requests from the leadership team

· Ensure compliance with reporting, tax, and financial obligations

About You

To thrive within this position, you will have demonstrated experience within:

· CPA/CA Qualified

· Financial Accounting - Commercial accounting experience

· 5+ years' commercial finance experience, ideally in fast paced environment (hospitality-retail-pharma-FMCG)

· Skilled in managing inventory

· Experience with budgeting, reporting, and compliance

· Great communicator who builds strong relationships

· Proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to learn
