About your new Role!

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing month-end and financial reporting processes while supporting the wider finance function during a busy period. This is a hands-on role that will give you exposure to both technical accounting and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Month-end close, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
• Preparation of management and statutory reporting
• Oversight of balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Support for taxation compliance including BAS, FBT and payroll tax
• Assist with external audit requirements
• Fixed asset and capital expenditure management
• Provide financial insights and analysis to business stakeholders
• Ad hoc projects and support as required

About You!

• 3-5+ years’ experience in a Financial or Senior Accountant role
• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Big 4 background desirable but not required
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and compliance experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel and large ERP system experience desirable
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, detail-oriented and adaptable
