Description

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage audits.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and tax obligations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Profile

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CA (or working towards it).
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
