Design Draftsperson

Our client is a WA owned residential construction company who is looking to add a Design Draftsperson to their growing team, who provides services to a variety of clients, from First Home Buyers to Luxury Homes.

Job Duties:

• Designing and drafting high-end plans for various residential homes and unit developments.
• Leading all drafting projects and seeing them from start to finish.
• Working on updates and improvements to the design of standard residential home projects.
• Completing specific detailing and amending of drawings across various market sectors and helping to create modern standard home designs.
• Creating detailed building documents such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Working alongside the sales, estimating and construction team, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

This role is available as a result of increased client demand and company expansion.

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience with designing and drafting residential homes and / or unit developments.
• Qualification in building design / drafting (desirable).
• Highly proficient with various software, including ArchiCAD.
• Full Australian working rights and reliable transport to and from work.
