Since 1992 MKDC has been one of the leading Western Australian interior design studios renowned for diverse range of clients and projects across aged care, hospitality and government. We’re seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson with a high level of Revit expertise to join our studio.

Job Description

You will be experienced at creating Revit families, and understand all facets of Architectural documentation. You will work closely with our design team, you’ll will have thorough understanding of the Building Code of Australia, and be able to liaise seamlessly with contractors, suppliers, consultants and architects. Your passion for emerging software trends and dedication to design excellence in the effort to deliver projects of the highest calibre.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize and manage Revit families, templates and project models

Produce high-quality construction documentation in compliance with the BCA and relevant Australian standards

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, external consultants and architects to resolve technical issues for the project

Utilize Revit 360 to streamline processes

Stay up to date with software updates, plugins and industry-leading drafting workflows

Contribute to MKDC’s broader studio initiatives

Qualifications

Australian citizenship

7-10 years of professional Revit drafting/documentation experience

Proven track record building complex Revit families and managing models

Strong understanding of design principles, construction methods and material specification

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly

Self-motivated, organised and able to balance independent tasks with collaborative teamwork

Prior experience in hospitality or government projects is a plus
