About the role
This position would be ideal for a person wanting to work 2 days per week, perhaps a recent school leave, someone at university or a person wishing to return to the workforce in a part time capacity. Although it is currently a casual role there is scope to transition to a permanent part-time role, depending on business demands.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in the education and training sector. You will provide administrative support across a range of functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the organisation.
What you'll be doing
Performing general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
Provide general administrative support to trainers, assessors, and management.
Assist with student enrolments, records management, and database entry.
Respond to student enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence as required.
Support compliance requirements, including accurate filing and record keeping.
What we're looking for
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Willingness to learn about RTO compliance and administrative processes.
A flexible and adaptable approach, with the willingness to pitch in where needed.
Desirable Experience
Previous administration experience (not essential as training will be provided)
Understanding of the VET sector and RTO compliance requirements (advantageous).
