We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Accounts & Payroll Lead to take full ownership of our day-to-day financial operations across three businesses. This role is integral to maintaining the financial integrity of the company and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, accounting standards, and award conditions.
You’ll be the go-to person for all things accounts and payroll, and comfortable liaising with external stakeholders such as banks, accountants, lawyers, and government departments. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
You will be responsible for managing:
Payroll/Superannuation/PAYG (up to 100 employees)
Accounts payable and receivable
Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Monthly reports
General administration tasks
You will have the following attributes:
Bookkeeping certification or equivalent experience
Outstanding organisational and time management skills
A keen eye for detail
MYOB/Newbook/WageLoch/Wage Easy proficiency or the ability to quickly adapt your skills to learn new computer programs
Superior problem solving and investigative skills
