The Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator role is responsible for the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of L&D programs, in line with Priestley's Gourmet Delights L&D Framework.

The role acts as a liaison between all parts of the organisation to ensure learning initiatives are effective, purposeful and aligned with the company goals.

The L&D coordinator is responsible for identifying organisational training needs, ensuring the gaps are effectively filled and owns the L&D records and reporting and serves as the first point of contact for all learning and development inquires.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to and influence the development and implementation of the PGD People and Culture Long Term Plan ("LTP") to align L&D programs to the organisation's strategy and business direction

Contribute to the design and implementation of a learning and development framework to ensure consistency and effectiveness of all levels across the organisation

Organise and coordinate the delivery of L&D programs

Partner with stakeholders to understand current and future capability needs of PGD

Collaborate with SMEs, managers and key stakeholders to develop relevant training and assessment materials

Identify skills gaps and work with people leaders to address the gaps

Maintain Training Needs Analysis (“TNA”), Training Matrix and training and assessment content documentation

Effective administration, monitoring and reporting of performance development documentation as part of the PGD Performance Review process

Gather and analyse feedback to assess effectiveness of learning and development programs

Qualifications:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or tertiary qualifications-Human Resources, Education or related discipline
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
• Experience in assessing training needs and developing learning content
• 2+ years of experience in delivering programs to a wide range of learners
• Experience in engaging with employees across different teams to facilitate People and Culture outcomes
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work collaboratively across the entire organisation with employees at all levels
