Qualifications & experience

Minimum 3 years experience in Commercial Estimating.

Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.

Creating and submitting tenders.

Understanding of general building terminology, building regulations, building codes of commercial demolition and Fit-out process.

Ability to interpret, calculate and review architectural plans.

Ability to build and maintain quality relationships through careful and articulate communication.

Understanding the role and importance of cost management.

Ability to work efficiently and manage workload to achieve deadlines.

Willing to take responsibility and grow within your role.

Tasks & responsibilities

Projects between $30k - $5 Million. Commercial, mainly non-structural.

Strong computer skills required.

Correspondence with clients, trades and suppliers for pricing.

Discussions with clients regarding pricing and scope.

Project budgeting.

Periodic review & analysis of project performance.

Contract administration.
