The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate, driven, and solution-focused individual to join our Estimating team. This is a pivotal role within the business, suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys building strong client relationships.

Your role will involve working across a diverse range of construction methodologies and materials, engaging directly with both new and existing clients. You’ll play a key role in converting enquiries into successful projects, contributing to our expanding portfolio and long-standing client base.

About You

You are a confident communicator with a strong background in estimating and sales within the commercial or civil construction industries. You bring a proactive, go-getter attitude and are committed to delivering excellent outcomes for both the business and our clients. Building trust and fostering lasting relationships is second nature to you.

Key Responsibilities

Attend site inspections, review plans, and prepare accurate take-offs and costings

Develop and document construction and civil methodologies

Assist in pricing variations throughout project delivery

Liaise with clients, designers, suppliers, and internal teams to compile competitive estimates

Identify cost trends and provide insights to management

Prepare handovers for awarded projects and collaborate with project teams

Partner with the sales team to improve conversion rates and project acquisition

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

What You'll Bring

Minimum 4 years’ experience in estimating within the construction or civil sector

Demonstrated commercial experience in quoting and tendering

Proven ability to establish and nurture long-term client relationships

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving
