About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our finance department. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting tasks related to outgoing and incoming payments, ensuring timely processing and accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections in line with agreed payment terms (Accounts Receivable)

Process supplier invoices and prepare payment batches for upload to the bank (Accounts Payable)

Reconcile bank statements and accounts

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Assist with month-end closing tasks

Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding billing inquiries

Qualifications:

Proven experience in AP/AR or general accounting

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Familiarity with accounting software

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial reporting

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
