A Method Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting with payroll, processing invoices, assisting with bank reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with accounts payable and receivables. This role also includes supporting the Finance Manager in completing the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
This role is part-time - 20 hours per week, ideally 5 x 4 hour days. Our offices are based in Melbourne CBD (Queen Street), and we operate a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

The ideal candidate will have:
Prior experience in a general Accounts role, understanding the basic principles of Payables, Receivables and Payroll.
Prior experience using a Payroll system previously, ideally one that's integrated with the wider Finance function (we use Astute but can train if you know your way around a different one).
Comfortable with Xero would also be a bonus!
Exceptional attention to detail
Proactive in nature, and willing to help out in other areas of the business (such as Operations and/or Office Management) as and when required.
