The Role

We are on the hunt for a hands-on Assistant Restaurant Duty Manager to join Mount Lofty Estate in our Food and Beverage Team. A rare opportunity to assist in leading our team and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Working closely with the Restaurant/Operations Manager, you will support day to day operations, supervise staff and assist with functions and events.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Restaurant/Operations Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.

Creating processes and training team members to deliver experiences that exceed our guests expectations.

Coach, guide and assist in managing the food & beverage operation of the restaurant.

Maintain a strong knowledge of the restaurant's offerings, including food and beverage selections, and provide recommendations to guests as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

A service & customer centric attitude.

Experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry.

Demonstrated ability and experience in leading and managing small teams.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
