The Venue
Located 15km from the CBD in the North East of Adelaide, the Somerset Hotel at Para Hills boasts solid food, beverage, retail and gaming operations (37 EGMs).

The Role
This opportunity will have you managing all aspects of the team including but not limited to; driving improvement in people, product and service, business administration, licensing and compliance.
On your management shifts the Venue is your responsibility to ensure that the Venue maintains the highest level of customer service and compliance at all times.
For the right candidate this will be the position of Assistant Manager supporting the Venue Manager and the team to achieve its goals and objectives. If applicable, the Assistant Manager role will additional require you to:
run with and/or assist with and grow function enquiries for relay onto our Functions Manager, when absent;
conduct stocktakes;
prepare rosters in complying with wage KPIs; and
grow, attain and promote sales across the business.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Personality, this is a personality driven Venue;
7 day availability across mornings, mids and closing shifts;
Leadership, this role requires a confident leader;
Exposure to managing (as a Duty Manager) a medium to high-volume venue;
A minimum of 1+ years in a Duty Manager position;
Experience communicating with staff at all levels;
Commercial and operational awareness across F&B, Gaming, Retail, TAB and KENO (and functions);
Experience driving high standards through people; and
Bring creativity, activity and ambience to the Venue.
Training will be provided by Management.
Remuneration
The salary for this position is $75,915 to $78,500 pa plus Superannuation Guarantee and entitlements.
