The multi award winning Gambaro Group is seeking an enthusiastic & experienced Personal & Executive Assistant for the office of the Directors. This dynamic role will incorporate general administration duties, operational involvement and all round support for the Gambaro Group office and team.

From humble beginnings in 1953, the Gambaro Group and name has grown to be one of the most well-renowned in Queensland hospitality, now with 5 award winning restaurants in Brisbane and at Coolangatta. The successful applicant will:

Have previous experience in a similar PA/EA role, hospitality background highly regarded.

Valid drivers licence

Demonstrate a passion for customer service and an eye for detail.

Be able to work autonomously and also take direction well from Directors.

Have an excellent grasp of written and spoken communication.

Competently handle competing priorities and multi-tasking.

Show a flexible approach to work and respond efficiently to change.

Be confident when interacting with external stakeholders and building customer relationships.

Understand and uphold confidentiality at all times.

Be comfortable working outside of standard 9am-5pm office hours when required.

Offer assistance to the Functions, Marketing, Accounts and Operations teams when required.

Have strong work ethic, resilience, ownership and loyalty.

Come to work with a positive attitude, and always be professionally presented.

Advanced in MS Office software

Bookkeeping and invoicing experience desirable

Social Media experience beneficial

The duties of the Personal & Executive Assistant to the Directors include and are not limited to:

Calendar, diary and email management, including booking and confirming appointments.

Extensive manual dictation of letters and emails required of the directors

Assisting with restaurant reservations and event bookings, particularly for VIP guests.

Organize and schedule meetings, conferences and take minutes where required.

Running out of office and personal errands as required by the Directors.

Ensure the Director is well prepared for meetings.

Making/ordering coffees or drinks for Directors

Travel arrangements for both personal and business trips.

Preparation of documents and presentations required for client and guest meetings.

Preparation of internal and external communications on behalf of the Directors.

Upholding cleanliness and organisation in the main office and in the Directors’ office.
