The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity to join a privately backed real estate group in the midst of significant growth. The business provides essential services to a broad client base and is supported by strong leadership and substantial private investment. With a collaborative culture and a track record of expansion, it offers ambitious accountants the chance to contribute in a dynamic and high-performing finance team.

They are now seeking a technically strong and commercially minded accountant who is eager to gain hands-on experience across reporting, analysis and process improvement. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment that values precision, problem solving and initiative.

The Challenge

Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly financial and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to senior stakeholders
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, including variance analysis and commentary to inform strategic decision making
• Full ownership of billing and revenue processes, including contract review, reconciliations, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries
• Managing the month end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and preparation of board reporting packs
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline reporting, strengthen controls and drive operational efficiency
• Partnering with operational, project and commercial teams on ad hoc analysis, transformation initiatives and business cases

The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualified
• 3–6 years’ experience in Audit, Business Services or an industry accounting role with strong exposure to financial reporting and analysis
• Ideally a first mover from Big 4 or a leading mid-tier firm seeking their first step into a commercial role
• Solid technical foundation in accounting standards, management reporting and revenue processes
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights
• Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Confident interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across finance and the wider business
