Senior Financial / Management Accountant | Wetherill Park | $130,000 - $140,000 + Super

The Position:

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on and broad finance role where you’ll have full ownership of accounting and reporting functions. You’ll be a key business partner, providing financial insights while ensuring compliance and accuracy across all areas of finance.

• Ownership and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
• Lead the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process with commercial insights
• Oversight of AP/AR and daily cash flow
• Manage all statutory compliance obligations, including BAS, GST, FBT, and corporate tax.
• Mentor and develop a Financial Accountant while collaborating closely with the AR team to strengthen capability.
• Being audit-ready and working closely with external auditors
• Driving continuous improvements across finance systems and processes
• Manage month-end close and deliver accurate P&L and balance sheet reports.
• Support business units with financial reporting.
• Assist with reporting for global stakeholders.

The Candidate:

You’re a confident, commercially minded Senior Financial / Management Accountant who enjoys partnering with the business.

• CA/CPA qualified
• Experience in manufacturing, wholesale or FMCG preferred
• Advanced Excel and strong ERP systems exposure
• Great communicator with natural leadership qualities and a proactive mindset
• You’re curious, analytical, and ready to own it
