The Position
This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the coordination of ACEM’s Associateship Training Programs – key education and training initiatives serving the emergency medicine workforce in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Positioned within the Training Unit, the role will be involved in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the programs and providing exceptional levels of support to program stakeholders at all stages of program delivery.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Coordinate the Associateship Training Programs team to ensure smooth operation of the programs including customer service functions, site accreditation, and assessment and examination. Develop, monitor, and manage processes, procedures and systems that ensure accuracy and quality assurance.
Develop and deliver orientation initiatives for trainees, supervisors and other stakeholders.
Contribute to the development and updating of policies, procedures, and other key communications.
Provide administrative and process support to College entitites involved in the Associateship Training Programs.
Provide leadership to assigned team members, including supporting and developing team members and conducting annual performance reviews to ensure efficient and effective performance.
Skills and Attributes
To be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant work experience, preferably in education, training and/or a compliance environment.
Strong administrative skills with a commitment to a high-quality, service-driven culture.
Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to negotiate effectively, and produce high-quality written materials including reports, procedures and communications.
Experience with analysing information, evaluating risks and making sound judgements with a continuous improvement mindset.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in IT and data analysis, especially Microsoft Office and database systems.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines efficiently and effectively.
