Academic Program Coordinator – Early Childhood Education$100K – $130K + super | Campus-based | Hands-on leadership role

I’m working with a highly respected higher education provider that is looking for an Academic Program Coordinator to lead their Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) and Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood programs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with people, coordinating programs, and supporting students and staff. It’s a campus-based, hands-on position where you’ll be at the heart of the program’s success.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee the day-to-day running of two flagship programs, including scheduling, timetabling, and supporting teaching staff.
• Coordinate student placements in collaboration with the placement team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with childcare centres to secure quality placements.
• Act as a key contact for students — particularly international students — providing support and guidance throughout their studies.
• Collaborate with academic and support staff to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Contribute ideas for growth and improvement, including exploring commercial and international opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree-qualified in Early Childhood Education
• A valid Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Experience in staff management, scheduling, program coordination, or student placement coordination.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communicator who enjoys engaging with students, staff, and industry partners.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the program.
• Commercially minded with a growth-focused attitude.
