EV FireSafe is a global leader in providing trusted, evidence-based information on electric vehicle (EV) fire incidents. Our mission is to equip first and secondary responders with the knowledge, training, and tools they need to manage the challenges of a rapidly electrifying transport sector.

We’re now expanding our training services — both online and in-person — and are seeking a dynamic Training & Engagement Coordinator to help us grow, innovate, and deliver world-class programs.

The Training and Engagement Coordinator will lead the development, delivery, and growth of EV FireSafe’s training business. This role combines strategy, operations, and creativity — ideal for someone who thrives on variety and impact.

You’ll be responsible for managing training products and events, building new partnerships, and ensuring our global community of emergency responders has access to engaging, practical learning experiences.

This role is part time for 20 hours a week (negotiable), with initial face-to-face training with colleagues, and other hours worked remotely. Salary is to be negotiated, based on experience, and there is an opportunity to increase hours as we grow. Sales bonuses and other incentives to be discussed.

The role reports to EV FireSafe Director and Head of Technical and includes:

Business Development & Sales

Use and build existing client base and digital presence to implement sales strategies, managing and nurturing partnerships with emergency services, government agencies, and industry stakeholders

Support Course Creation & Delivery

Collaborate with team SMEs to design and refine training programs, ensuring materials are up-to-date, and create a CRM to identify when clients need updated courses

Digital Presence & Content Creation

Oversee updates to EV FireSafe’s website and online learning platforms, create and manage social media and eDM content to promote research, activities and courses, and track analytics

Event Planning & Coordination

Plan, coordinate, and execute training events, conferences, and workshops globally, manage logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships

Community Management

Foster an engaged global community of learners on our training LMS using mass mail outs and gathering feedback to improve training and resources

EV FireSafe is looking for:

Proven experience in business and project management

Strong background in business development and/or sales

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with digital platforms (LMS, CMS, social media management tools)

Strong organisational and process creation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a small, fast-paced team

Knowledge of emergency services, firefighting, or EV safety (desirable but not essential)
