The ATB Morton Group of Companies are seeking a site supervisor to join our team!

Reporting to the project manager, this opportunity is to supervise projects and construction teams within projects based in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the construction team, including subcontractors and trades

Planning and management of project time schedules and deadlines

Ensure WHS compliance, regulations, codes of practice and site inductions

Quality assurance of work

Implementing and administering efficient and effective building management strategies

Take initiative and manage the day to day operations on site

Read, understand and interpret construction and project plans

Address design and construction issues that arise on site

Inspect work to ensure it meets plans and relevant building codes

Requirements

Hold relevant qualifications, trades qualified carpenter including WHS induction

Previous experience in a supervisory industrial and commercial construction role

Working knowledge of WHS procedures

Demonstrated commitment to, and knowledge of, HSE and quality management

Ensure that the project is delivered to the required quality specification, including quality and ITP documentation.

Very strong verbal and written communication skills required for internal and external dealings and negotiations

Hold a current driver’s license

Be available to work overtime
