About the Company & Role:
Our client is a recognised leader in the WA land development and civil construction sector, known for delivering landmark subdivision and other civil infrastructure projects across the wider Perth metro area. With a strong reputation for quality and staff retention, they offer excellent long-term career prospects.
Due to a steady pipeline of high-profile projects, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on several projects.
You'll be responsible for overseeing civil construction projects from planning to delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Supported by experienced Supervisors and Contract Administrators, you’ll be able to influence project outcomes and mentor a skilled team.
- Review and interpret project documentation including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Lead post-tender meetings and manage pre-contract negotiations.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee project delivery across multiple sites.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, tracking progress and identifying and mitigating risks
- Prepare and monitor project programs; manage EOT claims.
- Maintain quality, safety, environmental, and risk management documentation.
- Report project progress and prepare progress claims and invoices.
- Manage project budgets, procurement, and resource allocation to keep projects on time and on budget
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Resolve project defects and manage disputes effectively.
- Implement commercial controls to maximise project profitability.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements

Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager or Superintendent on land development and civil infrastructure projects
- Proven capability in project financial management and contract administration.
- Strong leadership, client engagement, and communication skills.
- Excellent planning and problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of construction methodology, safety systems, and QA processes
- Familiarity with construction software and project tools (e.g. MS Project, Procore, or similar)
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or extensive industry experience
