Job Title: Project Manager - Structural Steel - Commercial Division

Location: Bibra Lake, Perth, WA
Salary: $150,000 + Superannuation + Car Allowance

Overview:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Project Manager - Structural Steel in our client's Commercial Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and management of multi-disciplinary fabrication packages. This dynamic and fast-paced Project Management role requires a strategic approach to planning, managing, and delivering projects while ensuring customer expectations, deadlines, and budgets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Addressing all customer relations, including inquiries and project collaboration, to ensure outstanding quality of service.
• Developing and issuing fabrication work packs in accordance with project requirements.
• Conducting contract handovers and reviews, ensuring that all contractual obligations are understood and met.
• Managing project costs against budget, overseeing all resources associated with purchasing and quality documentation.
• Coordinating and expediting project activities with workshop personnel, logistics teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Overseeing the overall management of projects from award to successful delivery, ensuring deadlines and client specifications are met.

Key Requirements:

• Proven ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
• Strong technical understanding of structural steel and commercial projects.
• Solid knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working under pressure to maintain operational efficiency.
• Exceptional relationship-building, problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management software).
• Relevant experience in the commercial sector, with demonstrated expertise in structural steel projects.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience within the commercial sector, particularly in large-scale construction and fabrication projects.
• Prior experience managing structural steel projects is essential unless applying as a junior candidate.
