About the Role
Our client is a leading builder in Sydney, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional residential, high rise projects. With a commitment to excellence and a collaborative approach, they have built a reputation for delivering projects on time and to the highest standards.

Due to team expansion, the finance team of 5 is seeking an experienced, senior level Accounts Payable professional to join the team ASAP! You will use JOBPAC and report into the CFO and company leaders, whilst also mentoring the Junior AP Assistant, in a growth pathway to management yourself.

You will be responsible for managing the overall day-to-day workflow for full-function AP.

• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures- high volumes of invoicing and management of AP inbox
• Paying vendors and respond to all finance related queries
• Liaising with internal contacts and suppliers to ensure payments are made efficiently and accurately
• Manage all subcontractor payments, claims & contracts including ensuring necessary insurances are valid prior to work commencement
• Continuous improvement of payment processes
• Prepare monthly AP report with adjustments on WIP closure
• Support the creditor function
• Assist the wider Finance Team across adhoc requests & duties

About You

• Demonstrated and proven success in a similar role, CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL
• Strong communication to be able to deal with all levels of stakeholders, suppliers and employees
• Tertiary qualifications preferred
• JOBPAC experience would be highly advantageous
• Team player with an ability to work autonomously
