My client is a global market leader, turning over $10b+ and undergoing a period of major investment for expansion, one of the few of it's kind in current economic times

As part of the corporate accounting team this role assumes responsibility for day-to-day management of the Australian Head Office accounting function to ensure accurate and timely reporting

You will reconcile GL & intercompany accounts, perform accounting for property/leases, take part in audits and prepare financial reporting and commentary.

Additionally, you will assist in the budgeting and forecasting cycles.

About you

• CA/CPA qualifications
• Strong knowledge of balance sheet and intercompany transactions
• Have worked in an accounting role and/or audited a complex (ideally global) organisation
• Consider yourself a go-getter, keen to learn and grow in a highly dynamic organisation
• Previous experience in capital intensive industry or which service major contracts such as infrastructure, construction and logistics will be beneficial - NOT ESSENTIAL
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
