Job Description:

We are seeking a new team member with a friendly and outgoing personality who is a gun at bookkeeping. Working remotely, or if based in the ACT, in our offices in Fyshwick you will be responsible for helping to onboard new clients and keep our existing clients accounts nice and tidy. Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining accurate records with day to day bookkeeping tasks

Oversight and management of client accounts including identifying and fixing errors.

Assisting clients with their business management programs and apps, ensuring they are nicely reconciled with their accounting program where required.

Assisting in the preparation of detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Liaising with clients and their accountants where required to keep everything running smoothly

Assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Cert IV in accounting or bookkeeping or better;

BAS Agent Registration;

Two years in a similar role - construction based highly regarded.

Skills Required:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach towards customers and clients

The ability to adapt to a changing environment

The ability to work in a self directed manner - even while working remotely
