Regional Construction Supervisor / Nominated Qualified Supervisor – Canberra, ACT

Scope Home Access is a construction Company which specialises in modifying our clients homes to make them safe. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team supervision and project management, complemented by a valid NSW Builder's License. Ideally, you will have experience as a Nominated Qualified Supervisor (NQS) and have been licensed or are willing to obtain whilst working in this role.

Our work varies from minor modifications such as installing hand rails, grab rails, handheld showers and widening doors. Our major modifications can include full bathroom renovations, building stairs, ramps, decks and internal/external lift installation.

Operating out of our Mitchell office in the ACT, this role is full-time (working 40 hrs/wk and a monthly RDO).

Essential Requirements:

Current NSW builders licence/Certificate IV in Building & Construction/Diploma in Construction/Qualification in Project management

Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor, particularly in managing teams and multiple projects

Recognised experience as a Nominated Qualified Supervisor under NSW regulations

Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, safety standards, and relevant legislation

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure

Ability to ensure compliance with local building codes, council requirements, and industry standards

Ability to monitor and manage resources, schedules, and budgets effectively

Thrives on mentoring and guiding team members to enhance their performance and foster a positive work environment
