About the role
Bakers Delight, a well-established and respected bakery chain, is seeking a Qualified or Apprentice Baker to join our thriving team in Belconnen, Jamison and Dickson. As a full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our baked goods and contributing to the overall success of our local bakery.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and baking a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods to our exacting specifications
Ensuring all products meet our stringent quality and safety standards
Assisting with the daily operations of the bakery, including inventory management and kitchen organisation
Collaborating with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and product innovations
Maintaining a clean and well-organised work environment
What we're looking for
Formal qualifications as a qualified baker or eager to learn as an apprentice baker
Strong baking skills and a keen eye for detail to produce consistently high-quality baked goods
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A passion for baking and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider bakery team
