What you will be doing:

• Create detailed designs for timber framing, wall bracing, tie-downs, and structural steel in residential and architectural projects
• Combine engineering expertise with AutoCAD, ClearCalcs, Revit, and other design tools to deliver exceptional documentation
• Conduct design checks and audits to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and local regulations
• Interpret and analyse building plans, ensuring structural integrity in practical applications
• Liaise with clients, interpret their needs, and deliver timely, high-quality solutions
• Assist with fee proposals and quoting

What we are looking for:

• 3-5+ years in residential structural design and drafting, including expertise in wall/floor framing, and load-path analysis
• Familiarity with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and quality management systems
• A degree or diploma in structural engineering
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Hyne Design, ClearCalcs, or similar), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
• A collaborative team player who takes great pride in their work
