Our client is seeking an experienced National Structures Manager to lead their growing structures discipline, based in Brisbane. You’ll manage the day-to-day operations of the local team while overseeing national delivery, providing technical excellence, and driving business development. Duties

• Manage and coordinate the structures discipline locally (Brisbane) and nationally (team of 20 overall)
• Lead and mentor technical structural engineers and graduates
• Oversee project delivery and ensure compliance with NCC/BCA
• Liaise with clients, consultants, government and authorities
• Prepare fee proposals, budgets, invoices, and forecasts
• Drive business development and maintain key client relationships
• Promote the firm nationally and represent at industry events
• Ensure technical excellence, quality assurance, and OHS compliance

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years’ technical experience in structural engineering
• RPEQ registration (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland)
• Proven leadership in managing national or multi-office teams
• Strong client relationship and business development skills
• High-level communication and ability to deliver major projects
• Experience across sectors including residential (complex/high rise), commercial, industrial, recreation/sports, and education
