About the Role

As a Structural Engineer at Ardent, you'll join one of our specialist teams:

Structural Landscaping (pools and walls)

Residential

Steel Structures

You'll take ownership of your own projects — from scope to delivery — with the support of a team lead, coordinator, and drafters. You'll plan and track your work in Monday, communicate with clients, and deliver high-quality, code-compliant designs — on time and on target.

This is a fully remote, full-time position.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.

What Success Looks Like

Regular achievement of weekly billing targets (depending on role level)

80%+ of projects delivered on time

Clear, proactive communication with your team and clients

Minimal rework — thanks to discipline and clear thinking

Weekly support via team meetings and coaching

What We're Looking For

3–7 years' experience as a structural engineer

Professional Engineer membership with Engineers Australia is required

Solid grasp of first principles

Familiarity with Australian codes and standards

A growth mindset — you seek feedback and act on it

Self-leadership — you plan your week, hit your goals, and speak up early

Strong communication skills — written and verbal

Experience in residential timber frame design

Knowledge of concrete frame structures

Exposure to multi-residential developments
