Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Sales and Project Coordinator at Aqualoo VIC, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that blend sales and project coordination, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and updating a database of current quotes, leads, and projects.

Identifying new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts.

Preparing subcontractor packages, scopes, and procurement schedules across the project lifecycle.

Administering and managing contracts throughout the project.

Assisting in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals related to construction projects.

Managing project expenditure against budgets.

Reviewing incoming RFQ/tender documents and distributing them for quoting purposes.

Liaising with estimators by compiling and submitting documents.

Responding to requests for quotes and managing tender processes.

Preparing and registering all tender quotes and creating files.

Following up on submitted quotes and recording progress.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Requirements:

We see this role as mainly office based, however some travel may be required when delivering on our culture of providing great customer service.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Previous experience in sales, ideally within the construction industry.

Strong time management and organisational skills.

The ability to work autonomously and tackle problems proactively.

A formal qualification in a construction-related discipline or a trade qualification in construction (preferred but not required).

Strong planning and organisational skills to deliver successful projects on time.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to communicate and negotiate.

Solid computer literacy, including competence in MS Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Intermediate level Excel proficiency including formulas and data analysis capabilities is required.

A minimum of 2-3 years of quoting/tendering experience.

An understanding of the tender process for commercial construction projects.

High attention to detail.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.
