As maintenance officer, you will be responsible for:

General maintenance and upkeep of buildings and equipment, including preventative maintenance.

Coordinating maintenance of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related systems and communicating with relevant trades.

General repair work, such as painting, patching walls, hanging shelves and landscaping.

Make minor repairs and inspections of equipment.

Some gardening and cleaning duties as required, including cleaning gutters and pressure washing etc.

Ensuring all hotels have adequate heating, lighting and ventilation and that these are properly cleaned and in good working condition.

Working in a safe manner to protect the health and safety of self and others.

Reporting any hazards and/or risks within the business immediately.

Recording works completed and communications in the venue maintenance log.

Our maintenance team work together on special projects such as:

The Moseley Beach Club which is set up annually for summer.

Igloos, set up annually for winter.

Other large jobs that require significant time and effort and are best achieved as a team.
