Qualifications & experience

Experience in a similar role or site

Valid Driver's License

Contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.

First aid training or willing to complete

Relevant trades and certificates are desirable

Tasks & responsibilities

General pool maintenance including but not limited to pool cleaning, chemical testing and equipment checks.

Use and maintenance of pool equipment including pumps, filters, chlorinators, heaters, automation systems, robotic pool cleaners (training provided)

Plan, schedule and undertake preventative, urgent and ad-hoc general maintenance

Assist with apartment refurbishments including patching and painting.

Checking safety equipment and where necessary conduct safety audits as directed by the Village Manager

Assist with coordinating large-scale repairs, maintenance and modifications

Regularly inspect the buildings, grounds and perimeter to ascertain maintenance and repair requirements.

General upkeep of gardens and lawns, including all lawn mowing, trimming, pruning, fertilising, weeding and edging.

Support set up and clean up of site events including open days, large parties and meetings.

Respond to emergency calls for assistance.

Look for new ways to improve productivity.

Self-motivated and willing to work alone or in a team.
