Rex J Andrews Pty Limited, a family-owned and operated specialised transport company since 1989, operates out of a new, modern facility in Sydney. We also have depots in Newcastle, NSW; Portland, VIC; Geraldton, WA; Burton, SA; and operations in New Zealand. We provide high-quality specialised transport services across Australia.

We’re currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team at our Burton Depot in a full-time, long-term capacity. Your duties will include maintaining and repairing our specialised heavy haulage equipment, as well as assisting with loading and deliveries when required. You’ll be based at the Burton Depot, with on-call duties to project locations.

Note that this is not a warehouse position with forklift/pick pack duties. If you are looking for that type of work, please do not apply.

We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded, with experience in:

· Trailer assembly and maintenance

· Repair and service vehicles, plant, and equipment

· A basic understanding of vehicle fundamentals is essential

· Be punctual and reliable, and able to work in a team with minimal supervision

· Perform general forklift duties (preferred but not essential).

· Perform tyre fitting & changes (training available)

You should be able to follow given instructions, have excellent time management skills and attention to detail, keep work areas tidy and clean.

A mechanic trade is desirable, but not mandatory.
