Position: Casual Disability Support Worker

Location: Central Coast

Hours: 10 to 30 + hours PW (hours will increase over time)

What You'll Do:

Empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and dreams

Promote active participation and inclusion within the community

Assist with skill development, social activities, and personalized care plans

Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.

Key Requirements:

Available Monday - Sunday

Experience in supporting individuals with disabilities

Minimum of less than 1 year experience supporting individuals with disabilities is required

Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities and a collaborative team approach

Proficiency in using Client Record Management Systems

Comprehensive training will be provided for Client Record Management Systems

Proficiency in writing reports such as daily progress notes and incident reports when required.

Relevant qualifications and experience in personal support

Registered and insured motor vehicle

Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position

Qualifications & Training:

Valid Australian driver's licence

Current First Aid Certificate & CPR

Current Police Check

Working with Children Check (WWCC)

NDIS New Worker Orientation Module

NDIS Worker Screening Check

CERT III in Disability, Community Services, Aged Care, or Individual Support

Half of the required certifications can be obtained after commencement of employment
