Gunn Fencing has been operating for over 29 years on the Bellarine Peninsula, operating out of Drysdale, we work in a variety of locations all over the Geelong region. Our fencing works can be seen throughout Geelong's parks/gardens and rural/farming properties around the area. We have a small team of passionate hard working individuals who take great pride in their work. We care about our staff and their wellbeing and pride ourselves on providing an enjoyable, safe and fun place to work!

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience in rural fencing, civil construction and/or labouring preferred.

Construction Industry card (White card)

Truck /forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.

Tractor experience is advantageous.

Manual drivers licence is essential.

Enthusiasm for working outdoors in all environments and weather conditions.

A strong work ethic and a willingness to get your hands dirty!

Team orientated and also be able to work independently.

Strong interest in safe working practices keeping yourself and the team safe at all times.

Attention to detail and be self motivated.

Tasks & responsibilities

You will be constructing and installing a variety of rural fencing on private properties and council sites around the Greater Geelong area and The Bellarine Peninsula.

You'll need to be physically fit as the role includes manual labour, lifting, walking etc.

You will be using various power tools, chainsaws and fencing equipment.

There is potential to gain skills/accreditation in the operation of various machinery, forklift, tractor and Skid steer loaders (mini excavator) and CNC machine.

Random alcohol & drug testing.

Have a willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions when given.
