About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at DEVELOPER IDEAS PTY LTD' as a Site foreman. As a Site foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality outcomes. This full-time position is based in Sydney NSW 2000.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards

Monitoring and optimising site operations to maximise efficiency and productivity

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns

Overseeing the allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and labour

Providing guidance and support to the construction team, and identifying training and development needs

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) as a site foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry

Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings

Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and take on a hands-on, proactive approach
