The Victorian Farmers' Federation is seeking an exceptional Director - Membership & Marketing to lead our member engagement and brand growth strategy.

As Director - Membership & Marketing, you'll be at the heart of our mission to champion Victorian farmers and rural communities. Leading a dedicated team of professionals, you'll drive membership growth, deepen member engagement, and build strategic partnerships that deliver real value to our farming community.

What you'll achieve

• Drive membership excellence: Lead innovative strategies to attract new members while deepening engagement with our existing community of farmers and rural businesses

• Build strategic partnerships: Establish and nurture commercial partnerships that generate non-member revenue while delivering tangible benefits to our member base

• Elevate the VFF brand: Shape and execute marketing and communications strategies that strengthen our position as Victoria's leading agricultural advocacy organisation

• Lead with impact: Guide and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results and member experiences

• Connect communities: Bridge the gap between rural and urban Victoria, showcasing the vital role of agriculture in our state's future

What you bring

• Proven marketing and brand experience, ideally within membership organisations, industry bodies, or related sectors

• Strategic thinking with strong commercial instincts and a track record of driving sustainable growth

• Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders from farmers to corporate partners

• Understanding of the Australian agricultural landscape or strong curiosity and commitment to learn

• Genuine passion for food, farming, and rural communities

• Outstanding communication skills with experience in brand management and digital marketing

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field preferred.
