Located on the Rockingham Foreshore, VAT 116 / ENCORE is now recruiting for an Assistant Venue Manager to assist our Venue Manager and maintain the standards and structure we embrace.

VAT 116 comprises of 2 Levels with a 7-day per week pub on the main level (175 Capacity) and a live entertainment area on the 2nd level (250 capacity) As we enter into the busier season, we are now looking for a Full Time permanent hospitality professional with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role designed to run the pub and be a direct support for the Venue Manager.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of high energy hospitality professionals.

Can adapt and adhere to VAT 116 Standards

Ensure elevated levels of customer satisfaction

Oversee operation of shift including labour control, and shift forecasting

Ability to control costs and manage waste

Successfully promote and publicise our brand

Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example

Competent understanding of a Tavern operation

Confidence in your ability to train and develop your team

Requirements

Proven working experience in similar position

Demonstrate career experience in customer service management

Crisp food and beverage knowledge

Proficiency in English

Computer literacy in MS Office as well as adaptability to our POS system

Strong leadership, motivational, and personal skills
