Our client is seeking a hands-on and forward-thinking IT Support Specialist to take ownership of IT operations in their Sydney office. This is an opportunity to step into a role where you'll be trusted to make decisions, drive efficiencies, and create smarter ways of working.
With direct support from an experienced U.S. team, you'll also play a key role in global initiatives, giving you the chance to expand your skills and influence beyond the local office.
Salary: 100k + super
Job type: Full time, in office (with some remote opportunities)
Hours: 8-5 Monday to Friday
Location: Caringbah, NSW 2229
What you'll be doing
- Act as the dedicated IT contact for the Sydney office, ensuring systems and users are fully supported
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support across hardware, software, networks, and mobile devices
- Configure, secure, and maintain infrastructure, ensuring smooth and reliable operations
- Manage Active Directory accounts, security groups, and onboarding processes
- Enhance workflows and drive automation through Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate)
- Support a variety of business applications, providing guidance and training to end users
- Partner with global colleagues to deliver on enterprise-level projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll bring
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a hands-on IT support role with exposure across infrastructure, applications, and networks
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory
- Experience or interest in PowerApps and Power Automate, with the ability to support and develop solutions
- Working knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs
- Experience with server administration and virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
- A proactive mindset with the ability to spot opportunities for improvement and take initiative
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to lead IT locally while collaborating globally
