WOW Recruitment are seeking a CRM & Automation Specialist to join a leading payments provider on a 6-month contract with potential for extension.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of marketing operations and automation, optimising the martech stack and ensuring seamless campaign execution across the full customer lifecycle.

The Role
The CRM & Automation Specialist will play a key role in managing the marketing technology and automation suite, supporting stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll ensure data flows seamlessly across platforms, campaigns are executed effectively, and automation enhances the overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the martech stack, including email, SMS, analytics, and integrations.
  • Own and deliver email campaigns and customer journeys via Marketo and NetSuite.
  • Manage lead allocations and ensure correct flow into sales systems.
  • Track and manage referral programs, ensuring accurate attribution.
  • Use Zapier (or similar tools) to integrate platforms where needed.
  • Support website and campaign launches in WordPress.
  • Extract, analyse, and report on marketing data to drive insights.
  • You will also manage lead allocations to the sales team and manage our referral program.

About You

  • You’re a detail-driven marketer who thrives at the intersection of technology, data, and customer experience. You enjoy getting hands-on with CRM systems, building journeys, and making sure the right message reaches the right person at the right time. Comfortable switching between strategy and execution, you can spot inefficiencies, optimise campaigns, and make data work harder. Above all, you’re eager to learn, proactive, collaborative, and motivated by delivering measurable results.

We’re looking for:

  • 3+ years in CRM and email automation
  • CRM: data hygiene, segmentation, lead routing, lifecycle journeys, and reporting,
  • Email automation: build and optimise multi-step journeys and one-off sends; A/B testing; QA and deliverability best practice.
  • Strong capability in CRM management; segmentation, lead routing, lifecycle journeys, and reporting (experience with platforms like NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Email automation; designing, testing, and optimising customer journeys and one-off campaigns (experience with tools such as Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or Eloqua).
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Desirable but not necessary
  • Confident with data and integrations — syncing systems, managing UTMs, and connecting platforms via middleware (Zapier, Make, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of analytics and attribution — building dashboards, tracking funnels, and surfacing actionable insights.
  • Experience with website and CMS updates — landing pages, campaign content, and tag implementation.
  • Knowledge of referral and lead programs — ensuring accurate tracking, attribution, and handover to sales.
  • Awareness of privacy and compliance standards across AU/NZ marketing activity.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills, comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Salary & Benefits
