Join a well-established electrical contractor as their new Administrative Support!

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys being organised, hands-on, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll be the calm centre of a fast-moving environment full of young tradies and contractors, and you'll be trusted to get things done without someone looking over your shoulder.

You like being busy and having variety in your day. You're happy to jump between answering calls, processing orders, and then heading out to the warehouse to set up stock, if that's what's needed.

You're self-motivated, quick to learn, and don't need things repeated ten times. You've probably worked in a trade, building, or electrical company before—or at least somewhere with a similar pace—and you're confident on computers. You can pick up new systems quickly and you're not scared to ask questions if something doesn't make sense.

A minimum of 1-2 years experience in trade, building, or electrical companies is required for this position.

You'll be working closely with the Operations Manager and the Onsite Team. It's a busy environment and you'll need to move quickly and stay on top of things.The culture is casual, but also hardworking and fast-paced when there's deadlines. You'll need to be able to keep up and not be easily rattled.

Your role will include:

Being the first point of contact for the office — answering phones, emails, and enquiries from clients and contractors

Routing communications to the right team members and keeping information flowing

Processing orders, inputting job details, ordering materials, and keeping records/documentation up to date

Assisting with stocktakes and warehouse tasks, setting up stock, accepting deliveries

Learning and using the company's internal systems and software

Doing anything that keeps the office running smoothly and frees up the directors

To be a great fit, you'll be computer savvy, fluent in English and confident with Word and Excel. You'll need to be organised, adaptable, and able to handle fluctuating workloads.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

This is a part-time role, 8am–2pm, 4 days per week, with salary at $32–$35/hour. Salary increases are available for the right person.

The 4-day schedule requires availability Monday through Thursday.

As the business grows, your hours can also grow too—first by extending your hours, then adding a 5th day. There are regular team events and social clubs, and plenty of room to grow within the company if you're the right person.
