Yarra City Council Children’s Services are seeking dedicated educators for our long day early education and care programs in Collingwood.

Early Childhood Educators employed at Yarra enjoy the generous employment conditions of the Yarra City Council Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 including:

Yarra is a child safe organisation and as such you will understand the important role that educators play in protecting and advocating for children’s wellbeing.
To be successful in this role, the following is required:
- Minimum qualification of Certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care, (or equivalent)
- Up to date First Aid, CPR, EpiPen and Asthma Management qualifications
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Experience using Xplor (or similar online education platform) (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate responsive routines and programs guided by the approved learning frameworks
- Current mandatory reporting training
- Team focused approach
