Well established artisan bakery is looking for the services of a qualified baker/ pastrycook to join their team in Ocean Grove on the Bellarine Peninsula.

The role:
Hands-on baking, including dough preparation, shaping, and operating commercial ovens.
Maintain production schedules to meet daily targets.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
Maintain equipment and troubleshoot and coordinate with maintenance when needed
Contribute to process improvements, deliver consistent product, and new product development.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a commercial baker or cook, ideally in a bakery or food production setting.
Strong understanding of dough preparation, baking techniques, and food safety regulations.
Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy trays, and handle repetitive tasks.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Reliable, proactive, and able to thrive under pressure.
Hours are currently Tue to Sat 4am to 12pm.
Must have working rights in Australia.
