ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you ready to inspire young minds? We’re seeking someone special to help create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children of all backgrounds.
In this dynamic role, you’ll engage children in exciting programs, meet their physical needs, and foster a love for learning. With opportunities for growth and collaboration, you’ll make a real impact in our vibrant community.
You will provide for children’s physical care, actively participate in implementing an appropriate program which offers stimulation, challenge, and interest. You will provide an environment which meets the developmental requirements, educational needs, and interests of the children.
Selected Duties:
Maintain excellence in customer service, a respectful and inclusive attitude to diversity, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement, to support Wodonga TAFE’s strategic growth and development.
Assist in the implementation and evaluation of a relevant program focused on the individual needs of each child within the group. Confer daily with other team members about service provision and programming for the assigned group of children.
Care for all children in an understanding manner that respects children’s feelings and individual needs. This needs to be reflected during interactions with children, through a high level of supervision and the provision of a safe and stimulating environment.
Actively participate in the observation and recording of children's development including all developmental domains and individual interests.
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with significant experience and a willingness to obtain a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
Current (less than 6 months old) Police Records Check.
Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (including current CPR training).
Current accredited Anaphylaxis certificate or willingness to undertake training within a defined period of time.
Desirable: Diploma in Early Childhood Educator and Care.
