The role of an early childhood educator is:

To support and collaborate with a quality team.

Support quality learning outcomes for children.

To develop and maintain strong relationships between educators, families, and children.

To help develop and deliver an inquiry-based program that is linked to the EYLF curriculum that fosters children's learning and development.

Follow and comply with all regulations, including Wantirna South ELC's policies and procedures.

Collaborate, motivate, and inspire a high performing team in pedagogy, program, and practice.

To be considered, you will:

Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Have a positive attitude and passionate approach.

Have at least 12 months' experience working in early childhood education settings

Have sound knowledge / Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework

Have sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS) and Education and Care Services National Regulations

Hold a current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one)

Hold current First Aid, CPR, and Emergency Asthma Management certificates

Have Australian working rights or valid visa with work permissions
