A reputable head contractor specialising in the delivery of commercial projects across Sydney, New South Wales. They have a pipeline of work across new build, fit out, refurbishment, and remediation. Projects can range from $500k to $20M in project value, they are looking to add a capable project manager to their established team.

About the role

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of multiple construction projects across New South Wales. This full-time position will see you managing all aspects of complex projects, from planning and budgeting to stakeholder coordination and overseeing on-site supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and executing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
• Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure seamless project delivery
• Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving issues, and providing regular updates to key stakeholders
• Ensuring all projects comply with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Fostering a positive and productive work environment on construction sites
• Developing and implementing strategies to continuously improve project management processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• (5+ years) as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Experience in Construction build, fit out, refurbishment, and Remedial will be considered
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute detailed project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members
• Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, such as MS Project
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
• Knowledge of construction industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance processes
