The role
We’re seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan, organise, direct and control building projects from pre-construction through delivery. You’ll lead time, cost, quality and risk outcomes, coordinate consultants and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with the NCC, WHS and Australian Standards.

Plan, organise, direct and control end-to-end delivery of residential/light-commercial projects from pre-construction to handover.
Interpret architectural drawings and specifications; coordinate design deliverables and RFIs to ensure constructability and compliance.
Develop and maintain the master program and short-term look-ahead schedules; track progress and implement recovery actions for slippages.
Establish and manage budgets, cost plans and cashflow; administer head contract and subcontracts including progress claims, variations and EOTs.
Lead procurement of materials, plant and equipment; scope, tender, evaluate and negotiate trade packages; award and administer contracts.
Consult and coordinate with Architects, Engineers, certifiers and authorities; manage submissions, approvals, inspections and compliance with the NCC and Australian Standards.
Implement WHS, environmental and quality management systems; conduct site audits/toolbox talks; close out non-conformances.
Lead and performance-manage site teams and subcontractors; allocate physical and human resources; resolve site issues and interface conflicts.
Maintain the risk register and apply formal change control; assess impacts on time, cost, scope and quality; update baselines and communicate to stakeholders.
Chair project meetings; issue minutes, reports and dashboards; manage client relationships and expectations.
Oversee commissioning, practical completion, handover and defects liability close-out; deliver O&M manuals and as-built documentation.
Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across projects.
Skills & experience
3+ years’ experience managing construction projects (residential or commercial) in Australia.
Tertiary Degree in Construction/Engineering/Project Management (or equivalent experience).
Strong contract administration (AS-standard forms), budgeting and cost control.
Proficiency with project scheduling and site reporting tools.
Current White Card and valid driver licence.
