An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager (Commercial Constructions) to join a growing and highly respected commercial construction company based in Roseberry, Sydney NSW. This organisation is known for delivering high-quality commercial projects across sectors including retail, industrial, education, government, and fit-outs. With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage multiple commercial construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Lead project teams including Site Managers, Foremen, Contract Administrators, and subcontractors.

Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.

Monitor construction progress and resolve issues to avoid delays or cost overruns.

Coordinate procurement of subcontractors, suppliers, and materials.

Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.

Provide leadership in safety, quality, and operational standards across all sites.

Manage project documentation including RFIs, variations, contracts, and progress claims.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within the commercial construction sector in Australia.

Demonstrated ability to manage construction projects valued between $2M–$20M.

Strong understanding of construction contracts (AS2124, AS4000, D&C etc.).

Solid knowledge of project programming tools and construction methodology.

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Ability to build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

A results-driven mindset with a strong focus on safety, quality, and commercial outcomes.

Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
